Assisted Living -(Basic and Medium levels of care)

At Palms Way we have 8 beautiful furnished and spacious bedrooms with easy access. Most of these rooms have private or en-suite bathrooms which are well designed with wheelchair friendly showers and safety rails for assistance, ideally designed for those who require assisted living facilities. All our bedrooms have a tranquil outlook onto the beautiful garden boasting with lovely palm trees. We have a common dining room, lounge / TV room as well as a sunroom where the residents can be found reading, listening to music, doing a puzzle or playing bingo, knitting, chatting to one another and enjoying a cup of tea with their visitors. The sunroom has blinds that can be raised or dropped making it both very warm on winter days and the residents can enjoy the beautiful fresh air on a summer’s day. Both the Lounge / TV room and sunroom look onto the pool area which is relaxing and creates a tranquil environment.

Each resident is provided with a “panic button” and are encouraged to use it when needing any sort of assistance.  We assist our medium level of care residents with activities such as Bathing, dressing and mobility. We assist them by blow drying hair, choosing outfits for the day or special occasions and applying makeup. We try our best to help with iPad, kindles and cell phones as well.

All our assisted living and semi frail care residents have their rooms serviced daily, laundry and all meals and teas are included.

All our resident’s medication is taken care of by our nurse Lynn and is administered accordingly.
